Wow, what a year! 

So much has taken place and the year isn't over - there's much more to come!

 MAY

In May, CLCC held it's annual Ladies Conference.  We were blessed to have women of faith sharing the good Word of the Lord with us.  In addition to our very own Pastor Germaine and Minister Sheri Williams, we were also graced with the presence of First Lady Helene Kennon of Fort Worth and Pastor Caleta Burke of Tallahassee, Florida.  Praise and Worship was lead by Worship Leader, Erica Spence of Burleson, TX.  Our theme was, "Esther: Receiving and Releasing a Godly Woman's Authority".  If you missed it, please check back for the dates of our 2008 Women's Conference!

 

 JULY

July 12th - 15th, we celebrated CLCC's 19th anniversary!  Joining us in the celebration were Clyde Oliver, Bobby Connors and Morris Chapman.  These anointed men of God along with Pastors Nick and Germaine, shared with us on "Going to Another Level".  We had great food - both spiritually and physically when on Saturday we were blessed with a feast at the "Another Level Cafe".  Be sure to plan now for our 20th Anniversary in July 2008! 

 

 

We had a "wild experience" this year with our ZOOm Into the Word Vacation Bible School.  It really was a zoo around the church!  ZooKeepers fed the hungry little animals each evening; we had fun, upbeat praise and worship; games; crafts and lessons about Noah, Daniel and Elijah.  Our last evening all parents were invited for our "Goin' Wild Party"!              

 

  

 AUGUST

Most recently we were blessed with the smooth jazz sounds of author and recording artist, Ben Tankard.  Debt cancellations happened all throughout the sanctuary as Minister Tankard played with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  We laughed, cried and laughed some more at the humor and ministry of this anointed man of God.

 

 SEPTEMBER

 We had a wonderful time of fellowship, food and fun at the Northfield Park in North Richland Hills for our Annual Church Family Picnic.  With hamburgers, hot dogs, Brother Nic's 'secret recipe' barbeque chicken and all the fixin's, no one left hungry!  While the children played on the playground and some of the men were busy playing basketball, everyone else took the opportunity to laugh, get to know each other just a little better and enjoy each other's company.  THANK YOU to all of the church family who made this event a success!
